Image linking is indeed very handy feature! Your example was a bit flawed though; The image url will be different after user has changed her/his picture on Twitter (maybe on LI too).

Have you tested that the image actually updates from Notion's end, assuming the URL doesn't change when the photo is updated? We have this problem in our workspace in that it seems the image is accessed and cached only once, which makes the image URL unusable for things like build badges in software development.

Thanks for the video but unfortunately twitter changes the URL on updating the profile picture and so notion doesn't update it automatically.

What about when the source from where you copied the image address from deletes the photo. Will the photo be deleted on notion too ?

I did it before using my own Google Photos and it works about one them the other day the picture disappears. I guess they got something on their links where the link changes every day.
