i can tell that deepseek is already better because it can properly count the amount of R's in the word "strawberry". Chatgpt will argue with you on this forever and will see there are only 2 R's and tell you that you're wrong if you say it's 3. I asked Deepseek, and it spelled out each letter one by one and counted the letters as it did it and gave me the right answer immediately.

Deepseek Is definitely better because it's free but you know for complex tasks O1 is still slightly better.

Expected, but I also asked DeepSeek what happened in Beijing on April 15 1989 and it punt it, but instead of saying "lets talk about maths, coding, blah blah blah" it just straight up said its a harmful content. Which is, yes, referencing the Tiananmen Square Protests, but with the question being open ended it could have just said The Death of Hu Yaobang or even gave the weather that day.

For a fair censorship test you should've asked both models questions critical of Israel or in favour of Palestine. That would be an equivalent of the Taiwan question.

I asked Deepseek who the Prime Minister of Iceland is, and I got the wrong answer. However, ChatGPT and Copilot got it right, as did XI Grok.

Deepseek is unreliable. It's basically a limited version of ChatGPT.
It will delete text from the stream and filter out stuff that's not even related to politics.
I tried creating a chatbot talking about soup and it keeps removing the text.
