Effluent Treatment Plant - ETP

Industrial waste water treatment covers the mechanisms and processes used to treat waste water generated during its industrial or commercial activities. After treatment, the treated industrial waste water (or effluent) may be reused or discharge of treated trade effluents to inland surface waters or public sewers or on land for irrigation or marine coastal areas or in the environment. Most of orange and red category industries generate some waste water although recent trends in the developed and under developing countries have been to minimise such generation or recycle such waste water within the production process. However, many industries remain dependent on processes that produce wastewaters though it needs effluent treatment system.
