Been going through Neptune squaring my natal Sun for a year now, and my faith has wavered terribly in the process. In my work, in my ability to form authentic connections, in meaning itself. Oddly it's now as the Sun approaches a square to Neptune that I feel the elasticity of it all, that no story is ever finished and no role we assume immutable. This gives me great comfort, as does the idea that when the fog lifts the pattern will reveal itself, and these meanderings will have served a purpose, and a higher one at that.

This helps me understand my natal sun in Virgo 9th house square Neptune in Sagittarius 12th house. The seeker is a very strong archetype for me and for many years one of the adjectives I have felt describes me the most is “lost.” This and these themes have been even stronger in the last few years. Back in 2017-2019 I was going through a Neptune transit to my natal Sun and Mars both at 14°17'. That was the weirdest time of my life. I unknowingly walked into a hazy land where everything was a living message. It was both magical and nightmarish at the same time. It was the first time in my life where I felt like I couldnt rely on myself. I felt extremely vulnerable. I couldnt think in the same way that I always had up to that point. My depth of field had become very shallow. The only form of navigation and orientation was through feeling. Also, at that time I had started submerging myself into martial arts and astrology. My old mind was lost.

Interesting, I wasn't aware that we had a Sun-Neptune day when I wrote a letter yesterday that described how I forgave my father his sexual and financial abuse on me once I realized our pre-incarnational contract. His nefarious actions prevented me from getting lost in the matrix so while it was very painful, in the end, it turned out to be all good.
Btw, I have Sun conjunct Neptune in House 9 Scorpio in my birth chart and have been under a now waning Neptune trine for years, first to my natal Neptune, then to the Sun.
Since that started, the path in front of me wasn't visible anymore, it was like walking over a misty abyss where the path only formed when my feet touched the ground. Good exercise in building trust, lol.
