Hello Everyone:
Welcome to A Complete Balearic Journey - Session 42 - Spring 2014, the third in a series of all-new adventures taking YOU (the listener) on a voyage through the seasons and sound. I feel that each season has its own unique sound, a sub-genre that provides an aural feel of what our other senses experience.
It's 4:00 a.m. on an early June morning, and as usual, the dance floor has thinned with only those who have waited all night remaining for this special time. We are those people & we have waited for, the only distraction from the down-tempo music being that we must soon leave and begin another much longer journey. One which will take us many miles to a place we call home, for it has been (or so it seems) such a very long time. Morning always comes too soon, but for now, we dance on, oblivious of the rain that has once again begun to fall. I suppose that means more puddles to jump in on the way . . .
There's a WIDER HORIZON to be found, and soon THE MAGIC ISLAND will be ours; epic TRANCE, progressive TRANCE, Balearic HOUSE, progressive HOUSE, HOUSE, Nu DISCO & CHILL provide the perfect backdrop as our continued journey downwards comes to a close . . .
NOW I'm WALKING the DISTANCE, THROUGH the BORDERLAND, SEE a wider HORIZON . . .
