This video is an introduction to Interrailing for all of you who who would like to know more about it - telling you 10 things YOU NEED TO KNOW before you go! Plus some bonus tips too from my own personal experiences.

In the summer of 2019 I went Interrailing around Europe and so I wanted to start a new series on my channel all about my experiences, tips and recommendations.
Since 2019, Covid has made travelling more difficult but I'm hoping in 2022 that will change! Despite me travelling in 2019, this video is up to date with the latest information from the Interrail website.

If you have any questions, do let me know below! Or feel free to share your own tips too! Let me know if you want to see anything specific in this series of Interrailing videos too.

If you enjoyed the video then please give it a THUMBS UP and SUBSCRIBE so then you don't miss out on any future videos!

Thank you so much for watching and happy travelling! 🌍

Lovely video! Thank you for addressing COVID-- there aren't many recent videos of DiscoverEU which I can find (as the past few years haven't been able to go ahead as much). Fab video, thank you!

If you take ICE and all other trains in Germany you don, t need a seat reservation, unless nighttrains. But in all other countries you definitely need one ex Poland where you can be thrown of a train or get a fine if you don, t have one. So in most countries you need res now.

This was soo helpful! Just to give me a bit of an idea, how much did you have as emergency money or how much do you recommend for a little over a month trip?

Great video! I’m thinking of going in the summer but wasn’t planning booking hostels until I was in the country, which is what I’ve seen other people do on different videos. Do you know if hostels have to be booked in advanced due to Covid? Didn’t think about that until watching this video!

Love this video! I'm planning to go Interrailing in Summer - how much money do you recommend to bring? I have 7 travel days across 1 month. Thank you!

Hello! Thanks you for the video. Question- so 7 days within a month. Does that mean when I activate my pass then I have 24 hours of use from activation? Or once I’ve done a 7 hour train journey can I deactivate it when I leave the train station then pick the rest of the hours up when I need to travel again? Thank you!
