"Hah... now I finally understand. Why Karin looked... so content... at the end."

Loewe wasn't kidding when he told Estelle about Hamel. Joshua really did stare into the depths of Gehanna. This song wonderfully and tragically reflects the fate of Hamel.

I was blown away by how the tone of the game shifted from jolly and vibrant to grim and melancholic the instant this was played. I never knew a game can hurt you so much you want to embrace a character. Don't worry Joshua, we love you!

There are no words to describe it, this is simply the saddest part of the Trails series. Even members of Ouroboros found it hard to stomach. And as the state of affairs in Zemuria escalate, few things could match the tragedy and sorrow of what happened in Hamel.

Hearing this in Loewe's final goodbye in 3rd was fucking heatbreaking.

_Loewe... had a hard life._

This is where great games tell their stories. It's not the gameplay, not the graphics, but the story of people in a world gone wrong.

The thing about Hamel its importance is never forgotten even if the regular people in the series have forgotten So many events in the series have connection to Hamel

And that tragedy paved the way for many others to come. Even in death, Weissmann is still causing others pain.

The most heartfelt track of the arc. It just evokes tragedy and boy does it add that perfect layer of feeling to the dialogue.

The main melody at 1:28 is so impactful. I used to stop the dialogue just to listen to this track. 10/10

I love Ishibashi's work so goddamn much, and each time I come back to this track, it's just painful...

I...could not keep from crying when I got to this part. This is by far the most powerful game that I have ever played.

One of the greatest parts in any game I have ever played so powerful and sad.

0:32-0:38 sounds like a sort of muffled symphony of children, potentially to symbolize any of the youth that were massacred in Hamel and the suffering Joshua, Ash, and Loewe endured.

This song never fails to make me feel sorrowful, every time I listen to it, it feels like a moment of silence for all of those who’ve lost their lives to genocides and massacres.

Hearing the truth behind Joshua’s story of Hamel was a horrible tragedy. Geeez sooo sad. What 8 yr old boy wouldn’t have his mind shatter like his…his home, family, and his sister. 😢

This tugs at my heartstrings so damn hard. Can feel the painful memory even though i didnt experience it directly. Good music always elevates games to greatness

I thought this was dark but 3rd takes it up a notch what happens in 3 is brutal.

So powerful! Really makes you think about how people are selfish and greedy and the world is a fragile place.
