How many times did I go to sleep crying while this song played to give me even the smallest comfort in my isolation and depression. I had so much I feared and hated, how do I move forward without something to fear? Something to hate? I feel like I’m at a crossroads where I could either stay as what I am and bask in my grief, or I could climb up the top of the ledge and experience all the good the world has to offer. The problem is that I’ve been climbing for so long now that I’m not sure if I can even just rest, enjoy something as simple as a sunrise, I have been fighting in my head for such a long time, I want to love, like and comfort those around me but I’m unsure if I can or if I’ll even be enough for them, if I’m good enough for them, I want to be but I also know that I am who I am and they are who they are, that doesn’t mean we can’t come together easily and enjoy each other, I’ve just been climbing this cliff for so long. I didn’t know getting better would be this hard after surviving all the terrible stuff I went through, I have made it though and for that I am very grateful to myself for not giving in even though I may have had help in that regard.

One of the best episode in Re: Zero and it also has the best voice acting in all of anime. You can clearly feel Subaru pain and his sadness of finally being able to tell someone that he can Return By Death. Masterpiece!!!

Natsuki subaru cannot tell the conditions of his return by death to anyone. This was always the source of his suffering. We all have some kind of pain that we cannot tell others or they would just be indifferent even if we did (as an adult, i know). Now, imagine the relief when someone finally understands...
