I coded my mirrors to fold in above 120 mph. Cause, you know, drag.

Fold your mirrors whilst parking adds 50bhp. Facts

Something that I do to fold my mirrors is to just hold the lock button for 3-4 seconds, that'll close any windows that might still be up and will fold your mirrors! Plus, they will automatically unfold when you unlock the car. Just a small trick that doesn't require any coding in case someone didn't know.

Can you make a video on how to code Easy entry/exit? This is the feature where the driver seat slides backwards when you turn off the car making it easier to get out of the car. And go back to original position afterwards

instead of the bluetooth OBD adapter, you can use a lightning to ethernet adapter and use the BM3 ENET cable. Bimmercode read and write will be instantaneous

Re: active folding mirrors is a visual way to see the car is locked as you walk away or look out the window!

I like the folding mirrors because it prevents people from running into them, or scraping them with their car doors (yep that happened to me before, luckily it was just paint transfer and it was removed easily)

BMW listened. Folding mirrors are now a selection in iDrive 7 on my 2022 X3.

This is funny that you uploaded this because I was just about to go do some coding myself lmao. Time to watch this first

Dope content. I haven't even bought my 3 series yet but I'm set on getting it in a couple of years. So I'll refer to these videos when I get to that point.

Thanks for the video it's super helpful. Been coding my 2018 F32 that I got 2 weeks ago. It's cool unlocking features the dealer didn't enable.

The brake force display of a car in front of me actually prevented me from a probably bad accident once. So i really appreciate that feature since.

Brill. Coded a few bits today on my F36 435d. Brake force flash was already on from factory. Coded the rear DRL looks great as LCI. Folding mirror speed threshold upped a bit so I can fold when going a bit faster. Also M performance logo on the dash :)

Take a shot every time he says "LED" 😂

There is also a safety aspect with DRL lights not turning on in the back. The front ones are very strong on many cars and people drive with them at night not realizing the back of the car is dark.

Hmm will coding in these features have any effect on voiding 3rd party warranties ???

Fyi, you do have fog lights. They are integrated into your LCI taillights but they are not enabled for US models (don’t remember the reason). The Euro models have them. If you look at your headlight controls to the bottom left of your steering wheel there are two blanks. These would be the Fog On/Off switch. There is a comprehensive step by step to on Bimmerpost on how to enable the fog lights and code it in so the buttons work when you get the Euro headlight switch (not cheap 😬). I plan on doing this in the near future.

On the "Auto start/stop" you said to put it on "Active" but you have the "Auto start stop function off by default" switched to "Not Active". Why's that? Which one should it be on if we don't want to use it all? Thanks.
