ive watched an entire bot team and they seem to respond to bots getting attacked faster than players

I was playing l4d (the original) and I was doing an advanced run of no mercy without any deaths, and I reached the rooftop finale, a tank killed zoey and I got downed, the helicopter came and I was still down. Bill and Francis ran to the helicopter and left me on the roof and they even killed the tank and just left my ass there.

all the intelligence the friendly bots lack was actually drained by the zombie a.i

bro literally the only thing that stops the enemy ai in this game being actually unstoppable is the fact they telegraph everything with audio

Fun Fact: Jockeys can simply touch a person while midair and automatically start riding them, pretty sure this also works in versus

Tip: for bots to not heal you hold any healing item like defib first aid or adrenaline

Beating Expert on both games only with bots for the first time was one of the most gruelling gaming experiences I've ever had

You forgot to add the random moments the survivor bots can do in versus where the survivor bots get aim bot and can snipe your ass through a tree from a mile away with the hard rain fog effect without missing. I've had it happen multiple times playing versus with friends. It's a reason why I call the Rochelle bot Hawkeye Rochelle.

bot: uses last medkit.

also bot: immediately jumps off a ledge and dies.

the worst one is the tank, the most infuriating thing about his AI is that no matter the situation 97% of the time he'll hit you with the throw attack

I feel like bots, when there's 2, are assigned to different roles when a player is downed - I recall in the ending of Dead Cenre I got downed - Rochelle was a whiles away but Ellis was quite near, so he ran up to me, but just stood there shooting zombies, no attempt at trying to revive me. Took a while for Rochelle to reach but once she did, she started reviving me.

I've never seen something like this happen before, but it makes me think they have pre-determined revive/cover the reviving person roles that either don't change depending on who is where, or it does change and it just decided not to that one time.

This shit is the reason why I resorted to using sourcemod. Lots of plugins in there are very useful from seeing your legs, increasing tickrate, and even making it so the bots actually *_flee_* when there’s a Tank.

The bots in dragon's dogma can learn how to fight specific monsters by mimicking the player's actions.
For example, when you fight an undead for the first time, they will use whatever skills they have, but once you use crushing damage, light and fire magic, they will adapt and improve, seeing that it is effective.

I love how they shoot the hunter instead of pushing the hunter out and the same thing as the jockey

The Tank in L4D1 is scarier than he is in 2. If he catches you first on expert you’re dead, if you set him on fire he gains a massive speed boost that makes him look like an angry charging grizzly. It’s better to not even light him on fire in the first game especially on expert.

Sometimes I would even go as far as to say that the infected AI can be unfair. Especially when I'm trying (emphasis on trying) to speedrun campaigns on the mutation last man on earth, so I have no other bots to help me and there are no common infect. Just me and the special infected. As most already know, if the AI thinks you're doing too good, it bumps the intensity up a bit, which I have seen tanks spawn behind corners, and even when I'm taking a shortcut in the map, the AI spawns a charger right around the corner that I'm skipping to, and I get charged immediately without being given a second of warning. No charger sound, nothing. That has been a very common theme in my speedruns. Sometimes the special infected even break the rules in the game just to get me. There is a reason why l4d is one of the only games that can get me so worked up.

Do a video about the commons. The worst enemy in whole L4D2. Be sure that when you about to land that lethal shot against an infected, a common will speedrun up to your back and start pouncing so the aim goes straigt up into the sky or down to the ground. Next second you're smoked, charged, jockied, boomed or whatever the director sends at you. And its not fair. One team get just a small amount of commons, the next team will be swarmed constantly so you out of bullets before you leave the saferoom.

The problem is you compare L4D2 bots to Human players, when they aren't. You should compare them to walking sentry guns, them essentially being tools to success. You shouldn't be too harsh and just abandon them so recklessly, but if they'll make a fine distraction for a final saferoom dash then your safety is more important.
