Its called U because its U who are in the game! Only U can are in the game. But of cause there is also multiplaying, which is why its also called Wii, as in more players together! Its really great put together! :D

Controllers are getting more complex. more delicate, and more expensive. This one you definitely would not want to toss in anger or accidentally step on.

Wii U it's a new console. The controller is that "tablet", but the console accept Wii controllers and acessories. The Wii U bring to Nintendo the hardcore games, like EA new games, Ninja Gaiden 3, Darksiders II, Batman Arkham City and more.

Two years ago I would have bought this, but I just don't have the time I used to have and would simply be a waste of money, same goes for the PSV, but still Wii U seems awesome

From what I've heard, it's a controller and a console. The controller seems to work with both systems, but it won't make the Wii into HD.

The Wii U is gonna be the shiznit. I can't for it, and whatever Zelda games may come for it.

But, in all honestly...shell out another system with N64 graphics that promises to be a lucrative (un-costly) developing platform that allows devs to go wild with ideas and creativity....and fun...and I'd buy it too.

Those are all just controller input options. In theory, the controller portion sends a signal to the system about what ever it is you're doing while playing, then the system streams a video back showing the results. The end result would be that the controller wouldn't really have to have any real processing power to still do some impressive stuff. The down side is the controller wouldn't do anything on it's own, which I find disappointing.

While I haven't seen specs for it, it sounds like it's just a controller and a screen. Probably just enough processing to decode video. Same basic idea as Onlive. The system does all the real work. What you see on the controller is just streamed video.
