But, fundamentally, what is the unit of metadata in terms of its digital construct... like if I take the most granular metadata then, is it just a digit, a character or a data structure when deployed in real world applications... If it is structurally a data structure as a single unit then, how complex this data structure can grow representing a single metadata only?
