Civilization 7 - Official Catherine Trailer

The Empress. Meet Catherine the Great in this latest Civilization 7 trailer for the upcoming turn-based strategy game. Sid Meier's Civilization 7 will be available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam (which also supports Mac and Linux) and the Epic Games Store on February 11, 2025. Cross-play multiplayer is fully supported.

In Civilization 7, your strategic decisions shape the unique cultural lineage of your evolving empire. Rule as one of many legendary leaders from throughout history and steer the course of your story by choosing a new civilization to represent your empire in each Age of human advancement.

Publishers should really stop with the "Get access x days before release!" preorder bonus. It feels like they are just artificially withholding the game even though it's ready to go and it feels like a big "FU" to the fans.
Just to spite them, I think I'm gonna pick it up on a steam sale when they've fixed the bugs.

Tactics games that use the 'Hexagon' shaped grid usually intimidate me (surrounded on six sides from four),
but the voiced cutscenes show promise of the story being a worthwhile experience, looking forward to this game.

Honestly i find it a tiring and unfair to have Cathreine the Great AGAIN. She has been the leader of Russia for basically all Civilization games with the exception of Civ 1 and 6. Considering that with CIV 7 Firaxis devs decided to of using also great people as leaders and not only head of states, it would have been great to have other personalities like General Zhukov, Yuri Gagarin or Grigori Rasputin. Or in the future it would be great seeing other leaders like Ivan the Terrible, Lenin, Alexander III. I mean, Catherine has been a very important figure for the tsarist Russia, but historically speaking, she has not been the MOST Important.

Art style for leaders is not as bad as the previous game but it still sucks...

I love Civ games, especially 5-th. I spend thousands of hours in this games. Unfortunatly I gotta say that Civ 7 looks and feels like a one huge mess. It feels like developers have no idea what this game suppose to be, I got a really bad feeling that it will be disaster :(

Catherine should´t be in the Exploration Age ? Also Russia Got it´s empire from muskow principalty to Tzarist Russia in the Exploration Age... Guess there should be 2 Russias at least.
