Against the quirks of Komori and Fukidashi, the Class A team is divided, with Aoyama captured as a result. Fueled by a desire to surpass Yaoyorozu, Kendo engages her solo. Yaoyorozu manages to launch a bag of support items across Field Gamma to her team. With the aid of thermal goggles, Tokoyami launches an attack on the hidden Class B Team, capturing them. In a desperate move, Komori enlarges the spores inhaled by Tokoyami, incapacitating him. With an unconcious Yaoyorozu in tow, an exhausted Kendo captures Hagakure. Despite Class B winning Match 2, Kendo feels the victory is unearned, having failed to surpass Yaoyorozu

It's weird people will call this bs, when Kendo and the mushroom girl were truly the team's MVP's. Kendo was really good at countering her opponents from all her time working with Momo and keeping track of how class A acted in the sports festival. Meanwhile Mushroom was ignored as a possible attack/ defense power, due to how goofy it appears. When in reality mushrooms can be some of the most dangerous things in nature. Ingesting spores and growing fungi inside of you is a legit thing they are designed to do, so a girl utilizing this against an enemy, especially when she has an antidote/ recovery girl on hand, makes a lot of sense short of outright killing each other, every kid here fought with the intention to win.

When Tokoyami said “I can’t stop twinkling” I thought that was so sweet. I know that’s the other characters hero name but the fact that he respected him enough to call him that. 😊

Komori would be so OP as a villain. Right now she only grow mushrooms inside of people as a last resort and she doesn't use deadly mushrooms but she absolutely could do both if she wanted to. If she were a villain, she could just go around the city planting Amanita phalloides spores (also known as the Death Cap, the most deadly amatoxin known to man) inside of everyone and grow them all at once. She could kill thousands if not millions before she's stopped since it's so hard to see when she releases spores in the first place and therefore, heroes wouldn't even immediately realize that she's the one doing this.

The mushrooms in Tokoyami's throat irritated me about this fight, even if the teams are supposed to treat each other like villians their still at school and these are still classmates. The fact that class b had to resort to choking their opponent in a trainning match also did nothing to help with their likeability.

Why are parts of this cut out?! I want to see the clip where Sugar Rush asks Sero how all these onomonopoaia are "translated overseas" (from the sub version). That was a golden fourth wall break, and I want to see how it actually translated! You missed this funny part, come on!
