MUST VISIT LOCATIONS IN SNOWDONIA & NORTH WALES

Join me this week as I take you around a few of my favourite spots in Snowdonia and North Wales.

We took the van out for a family weekend away to enjoy the Welsh countryside as autumn begins to creep in. We visit the village of LLanwrst to pop into the cutest tea rooms I know, Tu Hwnt I'r Bont. Unfortunately we arrives too early and it wasn't open to the public so we weren't able to stop for breakfast and coffee but the ladies who work there were kind enough to invite me in to take a quick peek around for you! After, we head a short drive away to one of the most popular locations in Snowdonia, the village of Betwys-y-Coed. Incredibly scenic, set in a little valley, this place is well worth a visit.

In the afternoon we head north to one of my favourite gardens in Wales, Bodnant Gardens - always a stunner no matter what time of the year you visit. In late spring there is the world renowned laburnum arch which is a spectacular sight to see! Our last visit is to a hidden gem of a castle - Gwrych Castle. A place that very much enchants me.

Seeing your husband helping your daughter navigate up and down those rocks brought back sweet memories of my dad. Those are moments she will treasure as she grows older. Such simple ways of being loved.❤

Wales seems like the quiet, pretty sister of the UK and Ireland

What a sad tale for such an unimaginably beautiful castle! I hope someday someone will come along and restore it to glory, it would be amazing to see proper medieval reenactments there, or even just a lovely tea room and gardens. Thanks for another wonderful tour

I love the way you film, so we can see all the lovely details. That garden is wonderful, and I especially like how there are views into the distance from the terrace. Such a feeling of open space and freedom. One can forget the trials of the modern world for a while.

You and your family are 'endlessly photogenic.' Your visits to gardens and your ability to photograph flowers are outstanding. My wife and I have spent a few days in Wales. I have a bit of a Welsh family connection through the Yale/LLewllyn line. That adds to my interest in your video today!

I find your videos so interesting, I have travelled around the UK a fair bit, but always find out about new places to visit that I did not know of before!

So sad that these castles were vandalized and not used by large families— a vacant castle or home looses it’s vitality

WOW, so sad you see that place fall to ruin
