When I was young I was invincible
I find myself not thinking twice
I never thought about no future
It's just a roll of the dice
But the day may come when you got something to lose
And just when you think you're done paying dues
You say to yourself, "Dear God, what have I done?"
And hope it's not too late 'cause tomorrow may never come
Reach for the sky 'cause tomorrow may never come
Reach for the sky 'cause tomorrow may never come
Yesterday is history
And tomorrow's a mystery
But baby, right now
It's just about you and me
You can run, you can hide just like Bonnie and Clyde
Reach for the sky, ain't never gonna die
And I thank the Lord for the love that I have found
And hold you tight 'cause tomorrow may never come
Reach for the sky 'cause tomorrow may never come
Reach for the sky 'cause tomorrow may never come
So if you please, take this moment
Try if you can to make it last
Don't think about no future
And just forget about the past
And make it last
Reach for the sky 'cause tomorrow may never come
(Reach for the sky, ain't never gonna die)
Reach for the sky 'cause tomorrow may never come
(Reach for the sky, ain't never gonna die)
Reach for the sky 'cause tomorrow may never come
(Reach for the sky, ain't never gonna die)
Reach for the sky 'cause tomorrow may never come

Saw Social D at The Warfield in SF a long time ago. At one point I looked around and James Hetfield was standing a few feet behind me, just rocking out with everyone else.

One of the few bands that has never missed a beat; every Social Distortion album is a masterpiece in its genre.

I remember first learning about SD in 2004 when driving my truck and listening to the radio. This song spoke to my spirit about being happy and living in the moment instead of rotting and remembering.

I want this song played at my funeral for my son as a musical lesson about life

When you're writing songs that reaches the ones on the ledge, that become the thing for which they step back from the edge, you've done something powerful, straight from the heart, thanks social d. Today's a good day for a fresh start 😘

listened to these guys in H.S. in the 90s and recently refound my love for them. Arguably their best song...

Saw this song played live in Detroit yesterday. It was one of those moments where for some reason, I hadn't heard the song in many, many years, but hearing it played instantly reminded me of awesome times when it came out. One of my favorite concert moments.

This is the last song my wife listened to before she ended herself. I don’t cry when I hear it anymore. Still miss her. 7 years.

I was watching The Shield, a new episode started playing and all of a sudden; this song was playing during the opening of the show. I hadn’t thought about this song in YEARS; such a banger!

Arguably one of their best songs ever. It's catchy, but it doesn't tear out my heart like "Give me the Sweet and Lowdown" does. Still, an excellent song on an amazing album.
