Iran 'determined to defend itself' after Israeli strikes - US, UK and the EU call for de-escalation

Iran's foreign minister says Tehran is 'determined to defend itself' after Israel carried out retaliatory strikes on military targets across Iran.

Israel has released video said to show the air force preparing for the attack. More than 100 fighter jets took part in the operation. Israel says its attack was in response to Iran's ballistic missile barrage earlier this month. Iran says four military personnel were killed in the strikes, but downplayed the impact of the attacks, saying they only caused 'limited damage'.

The US, Britain and the European Union have called for de-escalation and urged Iran not to attack Israel.

Israel's intensive military operation has killed hundreds of people in northern Gaza since it began almost three weeks ago. Now, the World Health Organization and the United Nations are warning of a catastrophic humanitarian situation in northern Gaza. The Hamas-run health ministry says almost 43,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since Hamas launched its terror attacks on Israel just over a year ago.

Imagine Iran if it had not been embargoed by America for years.
Even with the embargo, it is scary that its defense equipment can compete with western defense equipment.
If the embargo is not embargoed, it could be tens of times more frightening for defense equipment weapons.
Try checking other countries that are embargoed by America, they are very weak, both militarily and economically.

It's crazy Iran is trying to downplay fighter jets being able fly into and attack the Iranian home front, and not a single Israeli jet was even targeted. That's an huge embarrassment and Iran should be seriously concerned. Especially if they had advanced warning and still couldn't do anything.

Iran had only 4 S300 systems and all are gone now, their main solid fuel manufacturing facility is totally destroyed and 3 major missile facilities are heavilly damaged and 4 Iranian soliders have been killed and we still don't that if the Israel fighter jets flew into the Iran or not.
