As a guy from the UK, when my elder brother came back from watching Easy Rider he was stoked by how you could be so free in US. I had yo wait until i was 16 ( UK law) until i could see it. I yearned for that life for MANY years.
I bought a house, i spent years renovating it, sold it for a huge profit, moved to the States & spent 2 years there. I never asked the state for a dime, kept my nose clean & everything was great.
Something happened happened my side of the Pond so i had to go home.
What i took away from my time living with you ( bikers or not) is you are a very nice breed of people.
The ONLY people that have ruined ( & it IS ruined) your country is politicians.

Commercial electrician here (journeyman) the answer to your question is a resounding no, green energy is not nearly as efficient and renewable as they market it to be. It has very little output and the materials used to produce power are extremely toxic and are constantly needing repairs. That field of energy is in absolute infancy and needs decades of research and development. Also, to anyone who may be wondering whether or not I have worked on such applications, the answer is yes. I have in fact worked on photovoltaic power (solar) in both commercial and industrial settings.

7:19 as a former truck driver I assure you, there isn't just one story of this happening. Most shippers have at least one story of a trucker attempting to leave while someone who was loading or unloading it was still in the back. Miscommunication is generally to blame, often times it's actually the person loading that messed up by being in a trailer after the driver had been signaled to pull away. Any decent shipper these days has dock locks that help prevent the truck from pulling away as well as several procedures to prevent this problem. Some go a little overboard, for example I have been asked to shut the truck off and hand in my keys, or even asked to wait in a waiting room the whole time.

That may not sound like much of an issue, but to a truck driver you may need to take that time for a nap, just because you have a dock doesn't mean you are getting loaded right away. Depending on what you are picking up it isn't uncommon to sit in a dock for hours. But a truck driver should be pulling away from the dock far enough to close the doors before they go anywhere. I never pulled away from a dock before I at least verified they didn't leave a bunch of trash like broken pallets in there.

Electrician of over 20 years here. Green energy is completely inefficient and all you are doing is charging batteries that you will HOPE have enough energy to power your house when it's all said and done. Green energy, such as wind turbines etc. are only good for the supplementation of energy and cannot actually POWER much of anything for very long at all. It's a HUGE joke. The best, most efficient form of energy, is nuclear. Plain and simple.
