/// More Details on the Cordoba C5-CE ///

A staple in the Iberia series, the Cordoba C5-CE features a solid Canadian cedar top and mahogany back and sides. The construction is based upon the traditional Spanish Classical guitar with the exception of a soft cutaway and a slightly thinner neck. The Fishman Isys+ 2band pickup system produces a rich and natural sound when amplified - perfect for gigging and recording.

I walked into GC looking for a guitar pickup system for my Alvarez classical guitar. I have to play a wedding in a week and needed some way to plug in to an amp. I played a cheap classical guitar that had a pickup system and it was ok. I noticed the C5-CE and played that to compare against the cheaper guitar. The sound, build quality and looks was so much better. I usually don't buy things on a whim but this guitar was just what I needed and I was in and out of GC in 15 minutes with a guitar in hand. What a great

This sounds shockingly good for such an inexpensive guitar.

Hi Dunga,

The jazz piece was just an improvisation by our featured guitarist, Alfredo Carceres. The Classical piece is "La Primavera" by composer Victor Velasquez, and the Flamenco piece is called " Ecos del Sacromonte" which is also by Alfredo. We're glad this demo was helpful!

What a refreshing guitar demo. No talk, and several styles demonstrated. Kudos.

Both this 5 years ago. I play more Latin, flamenco, and anime music pieces. Love this guitar, retains the sound.of the note. Big fan of the high tension strings. Truss rod is a game changer when needed as time passes. You will.love it. I have the cut out with the pick up version.

I just got one of these today. I was in Guitar Center and I was playing a bunch of guitars and ukuleles. I saw this and tried it out. I loved playing this and it was $244 (before tax) because it had some small cracks on the headstock, but it wasn't anything major. It was normally $400, so it was a pretty sweet deal. I was playing this all the way home and I just love the sound. It also has a pickup, a cutaway, and tuner on it, which is something I've wanted for quite a while. I've been playing on a fairly cheap Conn classical guitar for a while and I couldn't reach the higher frets. I also wanted something I can play on stage. The tuner is just nice, so I can tune it quickly.

Reading the comments this guy is an excellent Flamenco guitar player for real. All else sounds generic except the Flamenco part. The second best is the Jazz u Humble

Last song he plays sounds like "I will remember you" by Skid Row. Anyone know if that was it?

I just got mine and it sounds just as beautiful. However the fret bars are razor sharp, and it is unplayable without slicing my fingers open. I Didn't expect to have to immediately take it to a repair shop as soon as I got it. Can't wait to get it fixed cause it really does sound awesome

I didn't know Cordoba and the Washburn that I have are the same model. Willie Nelson plays that style sometimes.
