First few packs run through the stock Traxxas Raptor. Does this make a good starter 2wd?

I have a 2wd Rustler with a lipo battery and a brushless motor. When you order your parts for the upgrade, make sure you order a wheelie bar and blue wheelie bar wheels. You will need them if you ever want to open the throttle. As usual, great video.

Slash is such a good truck. Even stock with it's 12 turn motor, it still has respectable speed and pep for anyone, and so durable.

Great truck for the price. I bought one last Christmas. I did gear it a little lower. Comes out of the hole a lot quicker now.

2WD Slash lcg chassis BL set up, is for me, WAY more fun to drive than 4X4s. Geared up a little bit with all windows cut out to cut down on “parachute effect”, on 3S they wheelie on command at 35-45mph. So much fun.

Thats one tough truck!! 2 wheel drive hell! Your bashing the snot out of that thing!! Pretty sure my stock Redcat would have been broken something.

Great Video Man!!!! That's a Beautiful 1/10th Scaled Truck!! The Paint Job, Mirror's, Front Bumper, Rims, and Tires Really Set it OFF!!! I Love My Stampede 4x4 VXL, but It's like the Upgrades NEVER STOP!!! Lol. SHOCKS can be a HUGE AGRIVATION!!! The Biggest Bang For Your Buck being 2 Wheel Drive would be To Install The "Blue"Aluminum Shock Caps:) After installing the MIP X-Duty CDV'S I went through (Four) Different Brands of Shocks Until I Finally Got the ProLine Prospect Shocks Then had to Buy an Entire Bag of Springs For the Front, and Rear. I ended up using the Stiffest Springs in the Bag for the front and Rear. Now I've Got "EIGHT" Sets of Springs I Totally Have No use for. Lol. Honestly Speaking The Stock Shocks Worked GREAT When I JUST Replaced the Shock Caps!! I could Have Just went with some 50 to 60 WT Shock Oil and Maybe Added anouther one of the Spring Spacers that came in the Bag and saved myself ALOT of AGRIVATION. The Prospect Polished Aluminum Shocks with the Blue accents are Beautiful in the End!!:). Can't say it makes a whole lot of sense as far as Performance So Far But I Never actually Wore the stock shocks out First. SO Many Things Make more sense to Upgrade on the 2x4 and the 4x4!! I would Definitely Go with the 2's if your Running off Road!!! 3's wouldn't make any sense. It's a handful with ProLine Trenchers on the 4x4 using the Traction Management System. The Ball-bearing Wheels on the Wheely Bar makes an amazing DIFFERENCE in overall Control. Seeing that BLACK Chassis Really Makes Me Want to Test Everything Apart and Die the Chassis!!! Looks SO MUCH More Realistic Black!! Brushless is Definitely a Good Idea ALWAYS too btw:).
Happy New year Man. Have a Good One!!:) *(Subbed)*

I got a Slash many years ago when they first came out and have had brushed and brushless versions. I think it is a good car especially given the great aftermarket and hobby shop support the vehicle gets. However, I strongly prefer any of my 4WD vehicles over my 2WD vehicles. I have also had 2WD race buggies and a 1/5th HPI Baja. I personally would get whatever 4WD vehicle you can afford versus getting a Slash. I remember running around a BMX dirt track in Foster City with my Associated SC8 and Tamiya rally and some guy who had a Velineon Slash and it was no contest how much funner and capable the SC8 and Tamiya is compared to a brushless Slash. I know they are totally different vehicles but go 4WD if you can.

It still drives well for 2 wheel drive. F.P.V. would make for a more exciting drive. Lol. I would love to see that, but you would need working wipers if you mounted camera behind windscreen. Great work. Thanks.
