Everton Under-21s started the PL2 season with a 3-1 victory at home to Blackburn Rovers. Goals from Isaac Heath, Francis Okoronkwo and Martin Sherif earned all three points for Paul Tait's young Blues.

Just words of encouragement from fans.
I am also a fan but do not really proud as we fielded several first team players incl Virginia, Lindstrom n Beto. We only won thru injury time where Rovers have worn off or lost concentration at the end of the minutes. As a good club, we should have won thru 3-0 by half time n let Rovers scored one in the second half.

Play Dixon in the first team Sean rather than Ashley Young. Yes he’s probably not ready, too inexperienced and under prepared. What he isn’t though is a slow liability against anyone with pace!!! Young might be ok to come on 10-15 minutes from the end to see a game out if we’re winning but he shouldn’t be starting as Saturday proved. Same with Keane and Doucoure!!!
