Fun Fact: The japanesse peanuts are called Mexican peanuts in Japan, that's because they were invented by a Japanese cook in Mexico so you can say they're a little bit of both 🇯🇵🇲🇽

When you realize that if there ever were a Mexican "Squid Game", mazapan opening would be one of the challenges.

Love that these are "foreign" to some people, but are all available in almost any gas station in Texas.

Fluffy even had a skwinkles in his hand at the end. Mans did the barrio some justice on this one.

As a Mexican it's weird to hear that most of these were hard to find, knowing that back in Mexico you can get them absolutely everywhere nonetheless it's great that people still get to tastes them in different countries.

As a teen living somewhat close to bordering cities of SoCal in the 90s, My favorite Mexican snack growing up was a small cup of spicy liquid with 2 saladitos in it. It wasn't chamoy, I actually think it was something the ice cream person made themselves, tbh as I have never found that exact flavor ever again. But I will always remember those magic cups of spicy Chile liquid the ice cream man sold. 50 cents each.

The only thing I think he missed was pulparindos, those were and still are amazing.

Growing up in El Paso, these weren’t Mexican candies, they were just candy. Moving away and losing access to my childhood treats was really tough. Luckily, I found a taqueria with a little market that sells the Lucas pelucas candies and the spicy watermelon lollipops, I’m finally getting my tamarind fix

I've met Fluffy at a restaurant we were eating at with the family, my sister went to go take a pic with him and he started ragging on her broken Iphone, lol! It was so funny, we were all laughing, good times.

I sent my bf a pic of me carefully opening and holding a mazapane with the text "this is how gentle I'll be with your heart" and his blonde hair blue eyed self didn't get it. I love him so much.
