United Souls is delighted to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Philadelphia International Records with its eagerly-anticipated release of Get On Board The Soul Train - The Sound of Philadelphia. International Records Vol 1. First volume in a limited edition series which covers the first eight studio albums released by the label from 1971-1972.
The series, in which all albums are re-mastered from the original tapes, will map the history of Philadelphia International Records (PIR) chronologically.
Housed in a stylish 48 page slip-cased book & strictly limited to 2500 copies.
Also includes numbered certificate of authenticity, an exclusive 12” single and a unique poster.

I love the Philadelphia sound of Kenny Gamble & Leon Huff they make some of the best things in the music industry from back in the day when good songs and the best hit recordings the world has ever done Philadelphia International Records one of the greatest record labels in the world!!! Launching the careers of Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes, Teddy Pendergrass, Billy Paul, The Jacksons, The O'Jays, The Three Degrees, MFSB, The Spinners, The Trammps, The Stylistics, The Delfonics, William DeVaughn, Patti LaBelle and lots more too!!!! Thanks so much for posting this video!!! I love it!!! I love the 70s!!! Can you dig it!!!!
