On one hand, its a lot of junk.
On the other hand, we get to keep at least part of Jamaica Plain as a settlement (and the nearest outpost/village to the Glowing Sea partially in range of Artillery), some of the junk can be repourposed to built it, some can be kept for history's safe keep, lots of dangerous Ghouls are dead, and lots of mercenaries and raiders died in the most ironic, pointless ways possible after so much effort, insanity and betrayal.
To Preston, its an absolute win, and a complete treat, and its amazing.

*Preston is a genuinely Good Character in Fallout 4 it’s such a shame he didn’t get a companion quest for his proper send off with his character I always wished it was having to confront his PTSD & asking the player to help retake Quincy & him feeling at peace with himself after it’s done*


At least that’s what I think it’s Ashame so many unique characters in Fallout 4 never really get the proper send off they deserve for a quest which some deserve
