Dead End Kids (Rock Band)

So far ahead of their time ... this is a tribute edit of the rock band "Dead End Kids" from Philly/Jersey circa early 1980s (RIP Kelly James 1955 - June 6 2018)

Picture quality on some video is sub par due to the technology of the day.

Many kudos to you Keith. I was in a band X-Dream in the late 80's & Kelly showed up at Dick Lee's one night, grabbed my guitar and played "rock n roll" by zep. What a pleasure watching the trademark windmills and marching. What memories

I remember seeing them in clubs in my teens WOW they were fucking great! They were the first to do the guitar spin/sling around their back. Great musicians and showman.

DEK rocked the Galaxy, the Empire, the Hurricane and were the inspiration for so many great bands that followed. A few years later and they would have gotten picked up. Ahhh my misspent youth !!

I knew George and Kelly in the 70s when I played the Rock circuit. They were very original and unique for the times! They inspired many bands.
