you should have simply hold the phone a bit higher to take the right position, then u needed to remove the camera from the circle ..

Iris camera is y its struggling to register and it was written iris camera and make a new video on Iris scanner

maybe you need to clean the iris sensor, it maybe a little dirty from the coca cola test, and there is a toggle in the settings that lets the phone scan the iris without swiping up

it has nothing to do with the amount of light because it depends on the infra red light that it makes not the surrounding light, you can try it in complete darkness and it will still work perfectly, the thing is you needed to lift the phone to the level of your eyes, but don't look down on the phone. please do a redo of that:/

Basically you have to keep your head upright and it should work most of the time, idk at least that's how it was on my Note 7 I still prefer front finger print scanners though.
