The fact that almost every specific manga has it's own unique art style makes the whole manga world all the more exciting and really interesting to read..

Miura's artwork was truly on a league of its own

Manga proves that colored art is NOT objectively better than black-and-white. Both visual styles possess their own unique strengths that allow them to better communicate their respective stories and aesthetic flair.

since they didn’t get mentioned i thought i’d bring them up myself, Katsuhiro Otomo (creator of Akira) and Mori Kaoru (creator of A Bride’s Story) deserve to be credited for having some absolutely beautifully illustrated manga

I know JOJO was mentioned but I think Araki's artistic evolution over the course of JOJO's should be delved into further. Steel ball run and Jojolion feature some of the most unique and powerful art in the medium.

Murata is a fucking beast man….he’s up there with one of my favorite artist, I still get goosebumps on some of the panels he draws, some stuff deserves to be in a museum

Araki's work on STEEL BALL RUN is godly
I dont know why but blending some sports in a shounen/seinen with amazing horse arts was super

OPM art is just insane. It makes me feel how it was for early berserk fans, to read a new chapter and find a masterfully drawn panel

The art of Berserk and Vagabond can never be replicated in an anime. The art of the anime will always be a downgrade from the manga of those 2.

I'm surprised you didn't mention Hiroya Oka of GANTZ and Inuyashiki fame, his digital artwork is honestly breathtaking sometimes, and the facial expressions are among the best i've ever seen. Very happy to see Hayashida mentioned though, she is amazing and Dorohedoro is one of the best series I've ever read!

Tetsuo Hara's best art work actually isn't in Fist of the North Star, but the prequal that would release over a decade later, in Souten No Ken or Fist of the Blue Sky. The art is sooo good, I think it makes it the 2nd greatest Manga art of all time. But yes, Fist of the North Star is definitely more iconic with it's art.

The editing in the vids is super under appreciated, especially at the beginning where you had the manga panels moving. I know how long and how much effort that takes and it doesn’t go unnoticed.

I love Tite Kubo's art. It look so appealing to watch. He's so good at conveying human emotions by showing facial expressions.

Boichi's art in Dr. Stone has been amazing, especially for a weekly manga.

Yusuke Murata is the only guy who manages to make me pause in the middle of reading and just stare at the page in awe for 5 minutes strait
