People don't realize his 01-02 wizard comeback, he was averaging stats better than his '98 season before his teammate ran into him and destroyed his knee forever, and MJ just declined after that. He was 15-1 when Rip played with him.

People seem to forget that Jordan only played 15 seasons, there are 4 people ahead of Jordan on the all-time scoring list. Kobe played 20 seasons, Karl Malone played 19 seasons, Kareem played 20 seasons, and Lebron has played 21 seasons thus far. Kobe played in 274 more games than Jordan and Lebron has played in 420 more games. There's no comparison. Jordan scored 32, 292 points in 1, 072 games which is an average of 30.12 points per game. If you multiply that average of 30.12 points per game by the 420 additional games Lebron has played it comes to 12, 650 points. When you add that to Jordan's total he beats LeBron by 4, 468 points. Given the disparity between how many games they've played there are only 2 ways to make a fair and accurate comparison. The first is what I just did multiplying the average ppg by the number of additional games OR look at where everyone's numbers were after 15 seasons. Math doesn't care about your feelings and it doesn't lie, it proves beyond a shadow of a doubt Jordan was the best.
