The best thing is that Daemon treats Caraxes like an equal, not like something to be owned (many other Targaryeans treated dragons as their slaves). Their bond is real and that makes them two of the most interesting characters. You can just see the lengths Caraxes will go in order to protect Daemon and fight for him <3

Did anyone notice that when Daemon got hit with an arrow, Caraxes screamed in pain? Daemon and Caraxes seem more bonded than any other dragon and rider in the series, in my opinion. I think the two of them are genuinely connected as more than just the “dragon and rider” bond. It’s like they’re connected by body and soul. I think that’s how Caraxes always knows when to show up.

Caraxes is probably my favorite House of Dragons' dragon
The red color is beautiful
The shape when he flies is magnificient, he looks a mix between a swallow and a snake
And his chirps are kinda cute

Most feared dragon of the age especially by the greens. He was honeybadger of dragons wasnt the biggest or the fastest but insanley clever and fierce enough to take on a dragon twice his size and age and win although he died hours later.
