For some additional info:
The echo sub is a 6” 100w sub to support a 1.1/2.1 system with one or more compatible (amz echo) speakers and basically is just a simple sub that works with alexa.

The echo link will just send an audio signal from music services through alexa into an av receiver

The echo amp basically does the same thing as the link but adds two 60w channels for passive speakers and can again, be added to a whole home alexa system

I'm glad they are charging reasonable prices. The Sonos sub is $699. To all Echo competitors, I just bought 8 Echo devices. Why? Because they don't cost an arm and a leg, and I can hook them up to my sound systems that do cost an arm and a leg but more importantly, sound better.

What Amazon needs to do is allow each Echo to be part of more than one group so that I can play music everywhere or just downstairs.

Sub is too expensive but the Amp and Preamp are right on target.

If you could just Bluetooth the Sub and dots to a tv to improve the sound, .. no amps no cables no headache just use them as a glorified soundbar .. i might be interested.... BTW if you CAN tell the people in the video...

Amazon is now charging $249 for two Echo Pluses AND a sub. That's cheaper than buying 2 Echo Pluses at $299 without the sub!

The echo sub is bad, just get the amplifier and a good pair of bookshelf or floor standing speakers.

I'm so happy it's got "all kinds of different stuff". Tell us the price, but don't even show the ports on the Link or tell us what it provides. This is the worst review I have EVER seen.

For $130 I can get a pyle home theater with 10 inch 250 watt sub echo is a rip-off

Unfortunately, amazon changed their policy so that you can only stream one prime music source per account regardless of how many echo devices you own. The only way around this is to pay them their $15 a month for their music service.
