I was looking at some Breedlove's at a Bluegrass Festival last week and THERE ARE AMAZING They play like butter and sound amazing ! My last Martin I bought I have to readjust the neck several times a year???? I was thinking about buying a 12 fret Martin but I am now leaning to the Breedlove!

This video...I dunno. It's like it was a chore, or an afterthought. Guy on the right just wanted to get it over with. For those saying the sound isn't great, you must be comparing them to full-sized guitars, and you shouldn't. Video sound doesn't do many instruments justice. I played a Breedlove Pursuit Exotic (Myrtlewood) Companion today. Unplugged, it sounded like a full-sized guitar, and plugged in blew me away. And I own two $3000+ (USD) Taylor and Martin guitars, and other guitars. Breedlove is known the world over for their fingerstyle-favored guitars. The Companion guitar I played today was far and away better than the Taylor GS Mini and Martin Dreadnought Jr when I played them all.

I have the Companion in the Wildwood Pro series. Full African Mahogany all around, and it is amazing!! The thing I like the most about it is the clarity in the notes, whether picking or strumming. It is an amazingly clear guitar. The tone and volume hits way above it's pay-grade as a smaller guitar. Great sustain for a 12th fret guitar. The pickup they use is unreal, as well! Simply a beautiful guitar. Breedlove guitars are amazing!!!

Breedlove makes a great guitar...any travel guitar won't sound as good as a full-size guitar for sure....it can't resonate as much.

If you're looking for a travel guitar, get a GS Mini or something similar. This thing is a piece of junk.
