It wasn't a disco song. The Gap Band is not some 70s or 80s group. Charlie Wilson is one of the most respected singers in music and still tours and has albums into the 2000s 10s and so on. This iconic full section band was a funk band and this icnic song is from 1982. They are not a footnote and David Grohl didn't say some band. He gave them all the respect. He knew the song because he listened to their music. It is disrespectful to pass over them like you did.
