Vlatko Stefanovski is a Macedonian guitarist and composer. He is one of the most influential musicians in Southeast Europe and is known for his unique style, which combines elements of ethno-jazz, rock, jazz fusion, and blues.
Stefanovski was born in 1957 in Prilep, Macedonia. He started playing guitar at the age of 13 and soon became one of the best guitarists in the country. In 1976, he founded the band Leb i Sol, with which he recorded 13 albums and established himself as one of the most popular musicians in Yugoslavia.
After the breakup of Leb i Sol in 1991, Stefanovski began to focus on his solo career. He has recorded several albums, which have been well-received by both critics and audiences. In 2004, he collaborated with Dutch guitarist Jan Akkerman on the album Thunder From The Blue Sky.
Stefanovski is also a prolific composer. He has composed music for numerous films, plays, and ballets. His music has been performed all over the world and has won several awards. Marko Hatlak Band Marko Hatlak is a Slovenian accordionist whose musical path began at the age of six in the music school of his hometown, Idrija. After graduating from the Ljubljana Conservatory of Music and Ballet he continued his studies in Germany – first in Weimar and later in Würzburg where he finished his postgraduate studies under the renowned professor Stefan Hussong. Fifteen years of performing solo concerts and sharing the stage with many acknowledged solo artists, ensembles, orchestras and conductors have led him to his unique and unmistakeable approach. The musical genres he performs – tango, ethno, baroque and contemporary- are brought closer to the audience through music and story-telling, thus forming a genuine bond with the listeners.
