It's really sad that Bruno actually never left, but he had to isolate himself from the rest because of the gift he has. I tried to held back my tears when Mira discovers the little makeshift table and his painted plates just behind the family dining hall. Can you imagine the loneliness he must have felt from all those years of isolation, not being able to talk with his mother and sisters...

The "reality tv" gag is made even funnier by the fact that encanto probably takes place way before TV was even a thing. Bruno probably saw reality TV in one of his visions or something, but Mirabel just thinks he's off his rocker.

I would love to see a movie about Bruno... How he got his gift, I mean, how he used to be as a kid to manifested such a particular gift. Abuela always says that the gifts are "as special as you", so I would love to see how he was growing up.
