We have had terential rain storms and flooding this week and today was such a nice break to see the sun. Tight lines and may the fish be with you @sledgeflyfishing

It only took a few casts to get the first trout "in the net". Useing my Sunray California Glass fly rod 8ft #4 . The first fish fell to a blue flash stralking bug and the second to a stalking cats bug and the 3rd fell to a grey mop fly with blue tinsel. Kevin had two fish useing a blue flash stalking bug and a cats wisker.

You cast much better than I with the glass and I love the fact you have been starting with the glass too, where I Hardy then glass, perhaps that’s my casting issue as the Hardy is sooo easy.
I do find I have more success hooking on the glass by continuing pulling to set the hook rather than striking, what are your thoughts?
