Stalking Trout In The Summer - I Catch A Whopper (Rockbourne Trout Fishery)

Hey there guys just a quick video from a quick 4 hour session at Rockbourne Trout Fishery yesterday.

It's August and the hot weather is hurting the sport and all small still waters are suffering but many awesome fish came out of Rockbourne regardless...

Sadly I missed the take from this monster 13lb rainbow as I had just switched off my headcam but I manage to capture most of the action after that point....

Hi Barry. Love your videos. I am a newby to flyfishing and wondering what 7 weight setup you'd recommend? I have a 5 weight 9ft recon which I love but probably am not getting the most out of as I need more practise casting and dont find it forgiving. Ive used some cheap 7 weight setups and have found then easier to cast although not as nice as mine in how it feels.
