Putting the Fuji XT-3 up against the Sony a6500 and Sony FS5 in regard to rolling shutter in 4k video.

(FS5 and a6500 were recording Long gop 100Mbps UHD, the Fuji was shooting All-Intra 400mbps, framing was roughly matched via two zoom lenses and a 30mm prime)

I like short but informative videos like this. Others would go around the bushes to make a single point. Yours just went direct to the point with a bonus of an analytics at the end. Nice work mate

Great to see how well it performs, and respect to you for being so responsive to the audience! I can see this things taking off here :)

In time, and if other people are interested, I'd be really grateful to see how far you can push F-log while grading, both in terms of the colour depth and the dynamic range.

Keep it up man! All the best

Finally someone is testing important features, thank you for that. I would love to see the difference between XT2 and XT3 in this regard.

Excellent side by side. Short, clear graph and directly to the point

Short and straight to the point with a solid test. I like it.

cool stuff, straight to point. i'm getting sick of all the lads who have 5 minutes intro + 5 minutes of blablabla before getting to the point.

i don't know how you did that animation, but it was awesome and great video. btw do you think the blackmagic pocket 4k is better rollingshutter wise?

Thanks for the comparison. Really helpful. Can I request a dynamic range test between SLOG on the a6500 and FLOG on the X-T3??? Also maybe a low light comparison. And finally, how is the Auto ISO on the X-T3? I have seen some fuji cameras where the Auto ISO looked like it was "stepped" and you could easily notice that the Auto ISO was changing, while on the a6500 when the Auto ISO changes it is quite smooth. Thanks again.

I can’t seem to find any disadvantages of the Fujifilm x-t3

Even this video blows my mind...
Why is everybody recommending a73 or even gh5/s for hybrid shooting??

Do you mind to do test rolling shutter test comparison with Canon in case if it's IV at the background. Canon obviously will fail, but it's nice to see side to side.

As for the camera, wow, I would say theres hardly any rolling shutter. Im very very very surprised. Personally, some cameras have such a terrible rolling shutter (my fujifilm XH1) that you have to disguise it with slow-motion shots, or just stagnant tripod shots and thats not proper nor interesting story telling. So this helps alot that you can track things moving around in the frame. Apppreciate the video brotha!!!

*would be nice if you upload these videos in 4K so we can really see the quality of the camera's video.*

i know this video is old but you can fix shutter rolling in premiere pro and it works pretty well you just need to mess wit the setting so you dont get artifacts

please tell me you can make another one of these with the nikon z6, a73, and the xt-3... maybe an fs7ii?

if it had ibis i would buy the champ...as i shoot stills and documentary it is a real mess trying to upgrade right now.

wonder how easily the as of yet uncannibalized sony pxw series matches in post against the fuji xt-3, but that is a whole different video...

This was great! I'm surprised at how well the XT3 held up. One question, did you have an ND filter on the FS5?
