A beautiful pine bay with a sandy beach and clear water awaits at Stafylos Beach on the island of Skopelos however a second beach Velanio awaits across the beach while following the footpath up the hill.
On the right side of the beach there is a wonderful cave, while at its edge you will find water dripping from the rocks – a sign that there were baths here in the Roman years (“Valaneion” in ancient Greek) –usually when the sun goes free-grazing goats come down to the beach to drink water from the sea
