SYNOPSIS

THE WATER DIVINER, directed by Russell Crowe, will be released in Australian and New Zealand cinemas on DECEMBER 26, 2014.

Russell Crowe's directorial debut, THE WATER DIVINER, is an epic adventure set four years after the devastating battle of Gallipoli during World War I. Australian farmer Joshua Connor (Russell Crowe) travels to Turkey in 1919 to discover the fate of his three sons, reported missing in action. Initially blocked by military bureaucracy, his determination unwavering, he is helped first by the beautiful Ayshe (Olga Kurylenko) who owns the hotel in which he stays in Istanbul and then by Turkish Officer Major Hasan, who had fought against Connor’s sons. Holding on to hope, Connor and Major Hasan must travel across the war-torn landscape to find the truth, and for Joshua to find his own peace.

THE WATER DIVINER will be co-distributed by Entertainment One Australia and Universal Pictures Australia in Australia and New Zealand.

This film has nothing to do with the true story! 
You expect a a serious director to read at least the story and what really happened, doing research around this story and then add the Hollywood effects! 
In this film obviously money spoke, and apparently was exchange Turkish Lyra in US dollars-πossible bonus a downtrodden Greek mansion on the Bosphorus or the coast of Asia Minor-Mikra Asia-Maybe also  some days overnight stay in the new Turkish Presidential Palace-which cost more money than can fed more than half  of the Turkish people starving and suffering outside the΄Europian Turkey' in deep Turkey!
Or maybe I might be malicious and this film is a Parody for people who do not have a sense of humor!
Well done mrRussell Crowe a major new market for your movies opens its doors!
You should feel proud that you'll win enough money to obscure the truth!
