I had this procudure done on 3rd of March I suffered a stroke that caused a blood clot in the brain it was from a dissection of the carotid artery saved my life eternal grateful ❤

There is now an increased focus to roll out the procedure in the UK which has been lagging behind the US for years, regarding stroke treatment. However, access to the procedure is dependent on geography even today. Time is of the essence following a stroke so hopefully the number of centres offering the thrombectomy will increase on the back of increased funding by the NHS.

The only thing I don't understand is how they could steer the wire to the exact branch as the arteries windingly split.
