Ok so basically...
I just have to explain a couple of things about William's family lol

Between William's father and William's mother there's a HUGE age difference, more than 30 years, also because it was more like an arranged marriage, which back at the time was quite normal, even if they eventually fell in love.
And they had two kids right after the wedding, George, in 1927 and Mary, in 1932.
Note: William's father was extremely nationalist and called his kids with the names of English monarchs
After WWII, in 1947, William was born and they moved to the US.
So:
The old man is William's father;
The woman with black hair (who wants to kill herself and everyone around her) is William's mother;
The guy who's smoking is William's brother;
The girl who's having a seizure because of William is his sister
