We have been anxiously awaiting news about the S80 for a long time.
However, I didn't vibrate or see anything stunning at the princess' level.
I thought it was just another good Princess that doesn't dethrone the excellent S models – it's just bigger!
I found the finishes to be poor and the furniture in the room (sofas) to have a square appearance and not very engaging/comfortable.
The layout of the master cabin bathroom is not improved over the S78. On the contrary.
The stern is not very harmonious and the opening to the crew cabin prevents full use of the solarium above while open! The lock is also at head level and will take some getting used to to avoid accidents.
The crew cabin is cramped and claustrophobic – the S78's is excellent, functional and with interesting equipment. I don't understand how they didn't improve from the S78 to the S80!
The door to the technical area is very small.
Inadmissible parasitic noises for the level to which Princess has accustomed us.
I like the use of a single staircase to the lower floor – I intend for family use and I wouldn’t like being away from my (younger) children’s rooms.
I believe that this unit was used for presentation at the festival and some improvements/modifications could still happen.
Consumption, engine speed or prices in different markets are rarely exposed!
But, another excellent product from Princess – Congratulations.
