Показать описание

What you'll need:
Fried's rule formula: (Child's dose=(Age in months)/150×Adult dose)
This formula is used for children (infants) who are younger than 1 year of age. The rule is based on both the child's age as well as the average adult dosage for a 150-lb. adult.
Q2. A child, 12 months old, needs erythromycin, and the normal adult dose is 250 mg QID. What is the appropriate dosage for the child?
