In this Summertime Blues guitar lesson, I will show you how to play all of the chords to this classic by Eddie Cochran.

In his tragically short music career, Eddie Cochran managed to create some of the most infectious guitar riffs of early rock and rock. This kind of guitar style would go on to influence many of the rock musicians in the following decades.

"Summertime Blues" is a great beginner level guitar song with memorable guitar riffs and a fun upbeat rhythm to play.

There isn't much to this one, but that doesn't mean that you can't get a lot out of learning it. The strumming is very exacting, so within the video lesson I will break down the strumming for each chord in order to make everything as easy to understand as possible.

The chords, even though they are very simple, do change pretty quickly, so that might challenge some players out there as well.

All-in-all, "Summertime Blues" is just a lot of fun to play no matter what your playing level is.
