When amateur magnet fisherman Tom pulled a metal box from Crystal Lake, he uncovered a grisly double murder. Inside was Charles Montgomery, a wealthy businessman missing for three days. Investigators soon learned Montgomery had been hiding an affair with Jessica Turner, a much younger woman, while maintaining a seemingly perfect marriage to Olivia.

Olivia, who had an alibi from a charity gala, claimed she knew nothing of the affair. But the case darkened when Amber was found dead from an overdose—though friends swore she never used drugs. Suspicion grew around Montgomery’ brother, who argued with him over inheritance, and his business partner, eager for control.

As the investigation deepened, Olivia's perfect image shattered. Video showed her leaving the gala early, and her chemistry background tied her to the drugs in Jessica's system. Consumed by jealousy, Olivia killed Charles after discovering his affair. When Jessica's threatened to expose her, Olivia silenced her by lacing her drink with a lethal dose. The perfect wife was a cold-blooded killer.

Not siding with the wife, but both her husband and the mistress knew what they were doing. They inflicted emotional distress on the wife, and she was scorned alright. The betrayal she must have felt!! But then again, no one is worth losing your life over going to jail like that. No one wins.

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time. What an ego thinking she was smarter than anyone else to get away with murder.

Maybe not in the heat of the moment but still nevertheless a Crime of Passion; perhaps she would have done better to give her husband the "Bobbit Treatment".

She should’ve just getting a divorce or not marrying him in the first place because clearly he’s not a good man.
