When I was young (ages ago) I used to have a plastic model of the Tomcat, with indeed moving wings (manually!). Here we are and now you can have one actually flying remotely on EDF (not propellor driven), complete with remotely moveable wings. How awesome is that?!

I'm so glad that they included both a pilot and RIO figure with this model. There ought to be a law that if you make a model with a clear or open canopy you MUST include at least a pilot figure. 😊

The F-14 Tomcat is one of the truly awesome looking planes out there. As a kid, I built a model of it, twice. The first one came apart when I was flight testing it. <grin> They were not intended to be flying models. Didn't stop me. The second one I just kept on a shelf. Having a flying model with the full variable geometry wings is very cool...and can easily give you a feeling of Top Gun.
