In my effort to provide all forms of transportation comes a ferry. It’s more than just ski lifts (although that is still my main focus) on Teddy’s Lift World. This video shows Hy-Line Cruise’s newest boat departing from Hyannis, MA on a journey to Nantucket, MA.

About the ferry: The Grey Lady IV is high line’s newest vessel. It was designed by Incat Crowther and built by Gladding-Hearn Shipbuilding. It entered service in September 2016. It indirectly replaced a monohull vessel named the Great Point. That was a standard ferry that took 2 hours to complete the journey from Nantucket to Hyannis, 15 minutes less than the Steamship Authority ferries. Hy-Line’s fast ferries take 1 hour to complete the journey. Grey Lady IV is not the 4th Grey Lady, but it is Hy-Line’s 4th high speed ferry. It is also their largest yet. It is powered by four Cummins diesel engines that drive 4 HamiltonJet water jets. This results in a top speed of 39 MPH.

If you ever have the chance to try bass fishing out of Hyannis, by all means, do it, I got to keep my fish (Boy scout trip.)
