''The Virgin Tour'' was Madonna's first concert tour, which supported her first two studio albums (''Madonna'' and ''Like A Virgin''). Initially, it was planned for her to make shows all around the world, but at the end the tour was restricted within U.S. and Canada. The tour received mixed critics, but it was a commercial success, grossing $5 million ($10.96 million in 2015 dollars). The show held at Cobo Arena in Detroit, Michigan was recorded and released as ''Madonna Live: The Virgin Tour'', in VHS format. It became the top selling music video cassette of 1986. The show was also released in Laserdisc format and has yet to be released on DVD and Blu-Ray

Here's a tidbit of unimportant info.... The balloons actually fell from the ceiling during the performance of 'Angel', not 'Like A Virgin' as this video has edited it to be. I was there, and I remember that very well.
