JUNIOR KINDERGARTEN HOMESCHOOL CURRICULUM! | WHAT TO TEACH IN JK & HAUL!

Its almost time for another school year! Today I’m sharing the curriculum I’ve chosen for my kindergartener, Zara, for the 2019/20 year. She will be 4 in November, so we’re starting junior kindergarten, or pre-k. This is a haul of what books I’ve bought, but also the free printable worksheets I’ve put together for our school year. I’ll also explain how our mornings look, our routine, and what I want my kindergarten student to know by the end of the year.

I love going on Confessions of a homeschooler, also pinterest and teachers pay teachers. Books that are erasable are the best! I love that they help kids practice hand control 😊

We also did Pre K with all of our girls. We had the same goals for each Pre K. We went with more self built curriculum with Pre K, but that's because we were on a super tight budget. We LOVED Teach Your Baby To Read and Baby Einstein that we still used up to Pre K. I love your Pre K curriculum.

This is so great! You’ve given me some great motivation for my preschooler. I had him going to preschool one day a week while I focused on schooling his big brothers but I canceled it because he didn’t like it (and I missed him) honestly you’ve helped me much with curriculum choices for my older boys. This was so helpful as my son is starting JK! Im so nervous to homeschool I want to make sure he learns alot. He has no interest at all he writing or drawing so I ordered the blocks from handwriting without tears hoping that will help with writing.

Hi, I love your videos. I have 4 kids, 2 are at school, but my other 2 are :2 year old and almost a 4 year old. My questions are, how do you schedule the work that they have to do in those 30-45 min, and how can you get her to pay attention and actually focus on the work that needs to be done? How would you recommend helping a 2nd grader who struggles with reading (vowel sounds, sight words, fluency) he is repeating 2nd grade in public school but my heart breaks for how much he has struggled and I want to make sure I am doing the best I can to assist and encourage him. His year was so difficult last year, and his teacher was extremely unsupportive, so he has lost his desire for trying to read and I want to know what to do to spark that again. Any advice helps 💜💜💜 also, thanks for the great pre k ideas! My middle child is also 3.5, he would love those things
