My wife was her caregiver ever since she moved in a memory care facility. She was a wonderful person even when she was fighting dementia my wife always told me how great Justice O’Connor was.

What an incredibly beautiful, humorous & inspirational tribute to his amazing mother. I remember watching her confirmation hearings & was so excited to finally see a
woman on the highest court of the USA. Those were the days when Americans were able to respect those who served Americans & honored our nation's Constitutional law. Things have sadly changed but one thing is certain- Sandra Day O'Connor was an intelligent, truly humble, caring, respectful, honest, compassionate Justice who certainly deserves the grade switch to an A! Thank you for sharing your mother & grandmother with America. We're grateful for her gift of service.

If her young adult grandchildren were crying I cannot imagine the love n life sharing experiences she gave them. Thank you for sharing your lovely grandma with us in the USA. ❤ Rest in godly peace and in our hearts forever.

That was so beautiful.... I am going to listen to it again, what a great son you are, Jay! I LOVE that she was a disco dancer, and so many other great things besides being a Supreme Court Judge!

Truly well said. Im so grateful for Joe Biden, our political institutions and the inspiring words. I pray to the virgin Mary often, 'Hail Mary Full of Grace the Lord is with Thee'. When I imagine what 'Grace' is i imagine an orchestration of magnanimity, of all possible virtues a person can possess, latent in a person and expressed in real time at the perfect moment to have the greatest impact on others. A person, a woman, a mother. Sandra Day O Conor was not known to me personally. But I imagine she manifested this idealized magnaniminity of virtue not only in her personal actions, but as best she could, she facilitated virtues in all of our society with her professionalism and positive influence, facilitating that Grace in all of us. May she rest in peace and God Bless her family.
